Why I love working in Emergency Department

 

Tonight, I am oncall again…

Love being oncall because i do not just treat my patients but i also treat myself.

Being oncall in Emergency Department (ED) teaches you to be consistently sane, wise, alert, conscious and mostly patient.

Why ED?

Because it is the busiest department in the hospital.

You have to be alert with your own self, alert enough to press your pause button.

Yes they are times that you loose it.
But you pick up yourself, relearn and correct things.

The key point is that keep learning and be conscious with yourself.

And,

Remember, ego kills.
